Arrive at Rome airport, transfer to hotel and, depending on your arrival time, enjoy breakfast with your Italian Safari Tour Director, take advantage of the afternoon to get over jet lag or explore the magnificent monuments such as the Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish Steps within walking distance of your hotel. Rejoin your tour director for dinner at a typical Roman trattoria.

In the morning, get a glimpse of the outer city and its most important monuments while staying away from the crowds. Enjoy a golf cart tour with your experienced local guide, visit the Colosseum, and get a better understanding of the raw but magnificent culture of the Roman Empire as you walk through the Fori. After lunch, relax or stroll through the squares and alleys of the city center.

Travel to the Vatican with your guide and explore the city’s renowned museums before entering the Sistine Chapel to admire Michelangelo’s finest works. Begin your visit to the region with a tour of the Università del Gusto, where the Slow Food concept was developed, before checking into the stunning castle hotel that will host you for your last two days in Italy. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the spa, swimming pool or simply sipping a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards.
