Alpine Chamois Hunt in Italy
Description
Chamois hunting in Italy offers the most outstanding hunting experience on the continent: with its natural habitat among snow-capped peaks and rocky outcrops, you’ll spend all day hiking in the mountains in search of the right trophy.
In the lower mountains, where access is easier, the hunt is less physically demanding and you can follow dirt roads or wait patiently in strategic spots for a lunch break while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings. On a typical chamois hunting day, it’s common to see 20-30 animals, but sometimes you’ll encounter larger groups.
Our chamois hunting programs are among the most popular, and with four different areas to choose from, every hunter can find their ideal experience. Whether you are looking for the lower mountains for a chance at a record chamois trophy or prefer the reward of the stunning peaks, our diverse offerings cater to every hunter’s preference.

Accomodation
During the chamois hunt, guests are welcomed in authentic small mountain hotels, selected to offer much more than just a comfortable stay: good Italian food and local wines, wonderful views of the mountains, a small spa with hot tub, and more. The perfect place to relax with your non-hunting companions after a strenuous day in the mountains. In some areas you’ll have the opportunity to stay in the owner’s chalet, enjoying the most private atmosphere, where sipping a glass of red wine in front of the fireplace will make you feel like a friend.
What will my wife do while I hunt?
The Italian Alps offer a magical experience for hunters and non-hunters alike; even if you’re not actively hunting, the area offers fun activities such as cooking classes or walking in the peace of the mountains. We can also arrange dedicated for daily excursions to explore the royal castles or shopping trips to larger cities.
