Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Bindisi airport and transfer to Lecce, the very elegant capital of Baroque. After checking in at your hotel, meet your local tour guide for a short walking tour of the city center and an exclusive visit to a 15th century Plazzo-villa in the heart of Lecce. The owners will welcome you to their home with a special dinner together in the dining room.

Spend the morning in the same palace for a cooking class, following the old local chef’s instructions to prepare the most local specialties before tasting them for lunch. Later, enjoy a panoramic drive along the Adriatic coast with stunning views of the cliffs, stopping to visit an artisan textile factory or ceramic workshop and learn about the ancient local traditions. On the way back, visit a small family-run winery, where the welcoming owners will show you around before tasting their products during an early dinner.

In the morning, transfer by car to the beautiful town of Fasano, with its whitewashed buildings and stunning views. On the way, stop at a family-run dairy farm for a tour, where you will learn how the local cheeses are made and taste them over a light lunch. Continue to Fasano and check into your stunning hotel, set in a restructured ‘masseria’ (farmhouse).

In the morning, visit a local “frantoio”, explore the thousand-year-old olive groves and taste the oil produced during a light lunch. After lunch, transfer to the beautiful city of Ostuni and walk through the charming town to taste the best gelato. After the visit, return to the Masseria for dinner.

Transfer by car to Matera, world famous for its “rocks” and rupestrian churches. On the way, stop for a guided tour of Alberobello and its unique trulli, conical-roofed dry stone huts, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
